SekaMoke Foundation is a non-profit entity with an
application for
Federal Tax Exemption status under the
United States Internal Revenue Code Section
501(c)(3). It is also registratered with the Secretary of State
in Austin, Texas. Therefore, it
will be exempted from paying
local, state and federal taxes. In addition, SekaMoke
Foundation will be permitted to raise funds
by receiving public and private grant money and
donations in cash from individuals and
companies. Further, all donors are allowed to
deduct some of their contributions on their own tax
returns. Finally, a nonprofit corporation
protects its members from personal for the
corporation's liabilities. Since all its members
serve on a volunteer basis, a larger portion of
the proceeds is given back to help its
beneficiaries. |
